Why Collections…

I prefer to paint in collections or a series. I fall in love with the subjects or genres that I paint, so creating in collections or a series lets me try them from many angles. I paint everyday and tend to paint for hours and hours, who needs to sleep, when I’m working on a project. That lets me experiment and get to know everything I can about my subject.

It also makes it possible for you to choose more than one in a series to make a statement on your walls.

Enjoy

Wildlife Painter

I tend to paint in groups or series of similar items. This lets me explore the subject at length and from different angles. My latest bodies of work have all centered around animals. Studying animals, especially wild life, has always been a passion. I taught myself to draw as a child studying horses and farm animals. Even before I acquired the last name of Easter I loved drawing and painting rabbits and hares and these are now some of my favorite things to paint.

A Little Extra

I’m a contemporary artist living in Travelers Rest, Greenville County, South Carolina currently exploring my love of color and animals. One of my favorite series came out in March and is a group of my favorite things to paint, Hares. They made their debut at the Artists Guild Gallery in downtown Greenville. My current body of work, the Endangered Series, can also be found in the Wild Hare Gallery in Travelers Rest and at the Artists Guild of Greenville. They are a group of paintings featuring endangered animals big and small on gold leaf backgrounds with a percentage of all proceeds going to animal conservation and education.

Keep an eye out for this page, I list specials and extras here.
