Lamar the Lemur. Sold

Lamar the Lemur. Sold

$500.00

SOLD Lamar is quite the fellow, look at that gorgouse tail. But the eye are defiantly the best feature of a lemur, in my opinion.

Almost every species of lemur is at risk of extinction, making them the worlds most endangered primate. Destruction of their tropical forest habitat in Madagascar, caused by illegal tree logging, charcoal production and mining. They are very intelligent. Lemurs have two tongues, one smaller sifting tongue under the main one used primarily for grooming. It’s estimated the ring-tail lemurs numbers are only between 2,000 and 2,400.

Created with the highest quality acrylic paint on museum grade canvas and varnished to last a life time. The labor intensive hand crafted gold leaf is a nod to the greed that often leads to the destruction of valuable habitats and animals around the world. Wired and ready to hang or easily add a frame to match your space. 16” x 20”
